You are always told that life doesn't go your way and it is NEVER fair. But in this past year, with the recession that we have been in for a little over a year, things have been really hard for many people and I never thought that it would get to me and effect me as much as it still does to this day. I am a dancer. A dancer that is still in training. As a dancer in training, you have to pay to dance. You don't get payed to dance like a professional would. So, obviously, my family is struggling. Dancing at a competitive studio is very expensive. With the cost of tuition, costumes, rhinestones, shoes, competition and convention fees, it turns out to be over thousands of dollars. and did I mention that there isn't just one dancer in the fam? That's right. My baby sister is also a dancer. So double everything that I just told you. Again, a lot of money.
I also realized this week, that not everything can stay the same and the way you want it. I go to a school that has pre-k through 12th grade in it with 654 kids in the whole school and 236 in the high school. Every year, we get our share of new people, but this year, someone new came that I matched with. She is a year younger than me and looks exactly like me. We have red hair and brown eyes. We are the same height and we love/hate the same things. We clicked instantly. It was like we were meant to be friends. We have some of the same classes, we are locker buddies, and we know lots of the same people.
We found out this week that she and her family are moving back to where they moved here from. bummer. This tore my heart out. Even though we have only known each other for about 4 months, she has become my best friend. We are inseparable. As soon as we get out of class, we are together to walk to our lockers. We also spend about 2 hrs a night together after school. So it was a real bummer when I found out about her family leaving.
Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. This is how I feel rite now. I have everything in the world and now it's getting taken away from me.

"I set off, off to kill the man I love."
In my opinion, Richelle Mead is one of the best authors to walk this earth. As you may have guessed, she writes vampire stories. She worte The Vampire Academy Series. The series includes Vampire Academy, Frost Bite, and Shadow Kiss as of now. Hopefully more to come. She can't just end the story the way it ended. In this amazing world she has created, I'm lost. I get myself so caught up that I don't want to come back to what is our reality. she is one of those authors that drags you in. I have one word; amazing. Many people, when you ask them what comes to mind when you say the word "vampire," they either say evil, undead, bloodsucking creature or Edward Cullen. Don't get me wrong, I love Twilight with every inch of my heart (which is split among other things). But vamps are so much more than good looks and sucking blood. And most vampires don't suck blood. Only the power-hungry vamps drink the blood of humans to kill them. In my world, vamps are romantic, mysterious, amazing, beautiful, hard, fierce, bold, soft, curious, intelligent, and so much more. You are probably thinking that I am crazy. Vampires aren't real. Okay. I know that vampires aren't real. I am very well aware of that. But I wish I was wrong. This world si awesome byt I would love to see this part of my world if it existed. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, ask for further explaination or read the books.
As for the Twilight Series and Stephenie Meyer, I love them and her. Again, one of the best to walk this earth. But let me tell you, I have been reading vamp books since I was 14. Twilight was the first vamp book that I read and it pulled me in and showed me the light and what I was missing from my world. Something to believe in. I fell in love with this world immediately. Not so much with Edward, but the idea of someone out there like him. Everyone that I saw everyday, and who saw me with these vamp books that I carried with me when I was 14, gave me so much crap. Because I loved vampires. And now that Twilight The Movie has come to be, all you hear around school is Twilight and Edward Cullen. Only because he is hot and now has a face. I love the movie and have seen it many times. But seeing the people who gave me crap for three years before Edward had his gorgeous face that everyone could see and not that just the reader could have with their imagination a long with the words of Stephenie Meyer, makes me sick. Please. Get over it. You have no real feelings for the world these wonderful people have created. These people will never read this but I had to get it off my chest.
As you can tell, I read.......a lot. And my mom says that's okay. My stash, as I call it, is all vampire books. Well, maybe not all but pretty close. I also read Sarah Dessen. Again, amazing.

Welcome!
Hey! I'm VampFreak_17. I'm sure my name tells you quite a bit about me; I'm in love with vampires and i'm 17 years old. I'm new at this whole "blogging thing" so bare with me. I don't have a computer at home so my visits will be scarce. But when I am able to get on a computer, I will be adding alot. I'm going to keep a notebook and writing down everything that inspires me. Everything from quotes, books, issues, dance, my life and its relationships. Enjoy!
